It's the coolest thing! I loooooove my new keyboard! The keys are all
squnchy and the keyboard rolls up into a little spiral and it's just
adorable! I even think the eensy beensy little CD that came with it so I
could install the driver is cute. I don't have the phone synched to a PC
right now, so I loaded up the drivers on my Palm IIIc, used BeamPRO to send
them over to the I300 (regular beam doesn't work because you have to have
Fx200 Hack enabled and it's a hidden database), and got it configured. Then
I hooked the keyboard to the phone and WOW! It's a 3/4 scale keyboard that I
can type on. I am thrilled. Of course, I'm still keeping the thumb board -
it will live in my purse for emergencies and other times when I
need to take notes or send e-mail, but rolling out a keyboard onto a flat
surface isn't feasible. This gadget will make my life so much easier.
Although I have a fairly small laptop now (the Sony VAIO), sometimes you
just can't take it along, no matter how much you want to. If I get caught
short of time and have to hightail it out of wherever without being able to
grab all my gear... I'll still be able to type notes and check e-mail. You
wouldn't think such a small gizmo would make such a difference... but it
will turn my purse into a traveling office. I feel so... wired!
