even smaller than super duper beeny
now *this* is da bomb.
i was debating getting the flash
drive that holds mp3's, a car power adapter kit, and a wireless FM
transmitter so that i could listen to all my music without having to schlep
CDs, but this was on sale and i was in a micro kind of mood. my peripherals
have been getting increasingly smaller; this *definitely* accelerates that
trend! i love this thing. i accumulate a lot of code examples as i go along,
and this saves me the heartburn of trying to burn it to CD or having to
install, configure, and haul around a zip drive. i have one that didn't
really suffer from the click of death syndrome, but why push it? especially
since i'm way out of warranty and i have nothing critical enough on zip disk
to warrant purchasing another. iomega tends to do arrogant things like
writing a driver for USB based zip drives that prevents all non-iomega
peripherals from using any other available USB ports. what sweethearts! but
i digress. and since my laptop's legacy free, this was the answer. i don't
always want to have to try to set up elaborate shares on my home network,
and sometimes i'm nowhere near that network anyway. what an awesome gizmo
this is. i wish i'd had one sooner.
